Position Summary:

The Director of Aviation Maintenance oversees all maintenance operations related to University of Dubuque (UD) aircraft, simulators, flight training devices (FTDs), and associated operational equipment. This role ensures the timely execution of maintenance activities through effective inventory and supply management, maintains accurate documentation and databases, and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, including the Director of Operations and airport personnel. The Director of Aviation Maintenance also contributes to flight schedule planning, vendor contract management, and monthly reporting. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all maintenance functions of UD aircraft, simulators, FTDs, and operations-related equipment, including creating or updating any documentation or database
  • Manage supplies and inventory needs to ensure timely maintenance operations
  • Work with the Director of Operations for flight schedule planning of aircraft usage
  • Coordinate hangar/facilities maintenance with Dubuque Regional Airport maintenance personnel and/or UD maintenance personnel as needed
  • Assist the Director of Aviation Programs with managing vendor contracts
  • Provide monthly maintenance reports to the Director of Aviation Programs
  • Manage and mentor maintenance staff
  • Support the Director of Aviation Safety to ensure compliance with SMS requirements

Facilities Maintenance Worker

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain equipment, plumbing, electrical, boiler system, HVAC, locks, and buildings in accordance with building codes

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer assists in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the Athletic and Recreation departments that is consistent with the University Mission and strategic plan, as well as the Student Success Commitment. This position provides exceptional health care delivery to assigned sport programs; which includes injury prevention and evaluation, programming for rehabilitation and self-care and wellness, promoting holistic student-athlete success and experiences, and assisting in department evaluation and assessment. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in acclimatization assessment of practice and schedule declaration

  • Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans, required medical testing, required education and certification/medical paperwork
  • Provide the highest level of health care for a diverse population of student-athletes and various NCAA (Division III) and non-NCAA sports
  • Provide onsite care and management of injuries and illnesses including: prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation
  • Assess risk of injury, self-care implementation and overall wellness promotion
  • Accurate electronic documentation of all patient encounters

Aviation Maintenance Technician

Test Proctor/Staff Assistant

Residence Hall Director

The Residence Hall Director will assume responsibility for an area(s) within the Office of Residence Life. This is a live-in position with direct supervision of a residential community. The residential community ranges in occupancy from 136 to 153 residents, and are traditional dorms, or suite, campus house/townhouse, or pod style. Facilities may be co-ed by floor/wing/housing unit. The Residence Hall Director will supervise one/two graduate assistants within the Office of Student Life and supervise six to eight Resident Assistants in each area of responsibility. The Residence Hall Director may also assume responsibility for additional areas within the Office of Student Life such as Title IX, Student Guidelines, First Year Student Success, Housing Logistics, Live and Learn Communities, and potential other duties and/or responsibilities.

A furnished one or two-bedroom apartment is provided for the Residence Hall Director, spouse, and legal dependents which includes utilities, air conditioning, and internet. Additional cable or internet services are the responsibility of the Residence Hall Director. All residences are smoke-free in alignment with the smoke-free campus. The Residence Hall Director is provided a meal plan through the University Dining Services when the University is in regular session. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administration
    • Direct the overall management and operation of the residence hall and assigned area

Teach lecture and lab for an introductory biology course, Zoology during the Fall 2025 semester. This will include the lecture that meets three times a week for 50 min and two lab sections that are 3 hours each.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Teach pertinent course content using lectures, demonstrations, class discussion, and other appropriate modes of educational delivery that promote educational and learning processes
  • Prepare course outline and syllabus, develop course and lesson plans, and engage in the selection of textbook and other teaching aids necessary to the instruction of courses as requested.
  • Assess learner's submissions in a timely manner and provide feedback to learners. Submit course-related reports as requested by the University
  • Maintain course standards set by the department.
  • Maintain communication with the coordinator of this position
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's Mission

Position Summary:

Part-time Adjunct Faculty for the LIFE Program - Cedar Rapids, IA and Dubuque, IA

The University of Dubuque (UD) is seeking Part-time Adjunct Faculty in multiple academic areas to teach in its accelerated adult program in Cedar Rapids, IA and Dubuque, IA. UD is a diverse, Christian, and forward-thinking educational community with a main campus in Dubuque, Iowa, and locations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tempe, Arizona, and Meridian, Idaho. Through its Learning Institute for Fulfillment and Engagement (LIFE), the university offers accelerated, face-to-face undergraduate and graduate programs targeted to adult learners.
