Media Services offers the following services for UD faculty, students, and staff:
  • Video production (record/edit/distribute)
  • Live webcasts for athletics and special events
  • Staffing, equipment and technical support for special events
  • Recording of classes and lectures
  • Technical support for campus audio-visual equipment (projectors/TVs/audio)
  • Technical support for Skype and other videoconferencing services

Video Services

YouTube
Videos produced for alumni, prospective students are posted here, as well as videos of interest to the general public.

Mediasite
Most day-to-day activities, such as classes, chapel services, lectures, and special events, including commencement, convocation, and the like, are posted to Mediasite.

UD Athletics
Many UD home games are webcast live here.

If you would like assistance with recording an event or producing a video, please complete a video services request form or contact Mike Willis, Director of Media Services. Please note that a signed Recording Permission Form is required for filming anyone who is not a UD faculty, staff, or student.

Special Event Support
If you're planning a special event, Media Services can provide equipment and technical support. To get started, contact us at least one week in advance.

Equipment Loans
If you prefer to setup and operate equipment yourself, some gear is available for loan, including portable sound systems, webcams, and student response systems (aka "clickers"). Equipment must be used for classes or UD events approved by the Director of Scheduling and Event Planning. If you haven't reserved a room or submitted a special event form, see the Event Room Reservation Request form for more information.

Classroom Inventory
Most of the classrooms on campus are outfitted with a computer and projector. For a complete list of classrooms and their equipment, check out the classroom technology inventory.
