Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Liberal Studies major, students will be able to:

• Communicate effectively using oral and written skills.
• Demonstrate broad-based content exposure, ensuring that students are conversant with the essential constructs and skills of three distinct academic disciplines, two of which are in the traditional liberal arts.
• Synthesize and integrate methods and insights from the intellectual disciplines in the student’s liberal studies major.
