Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Environmental Science major, students will be able to:
- Evaluate the ethics of behavior and decisions likely to be encountered in one's professional career.
- Gather and perform quantitative analyses of scientific data using current methods and technology.
- Demonstrate significant contribution to teams researching scientific problems.
- Produce and defend science results according to professional standards in the form of reports, maps, graphics, and presentations.
- Identify, analyze, and summarize significant scientific issues of local and/or global concern and develop scientifically justifiable solutions.
- Demonstrate content knowledge by applying it to scientific professions or through entrance into graduate/professional programs.
