Rise Above - Tuskegee Airmen Traveling Outdoor Exhibit

FREE EVENT!! --- Located at the Dubuque Regional Airport Quonset Hut, 11038 Airport Road, past UD's Babka Aviation Learning Center --- FREE ADMISSION
This unique and interactive traveling exhibit tells the stories of the Tuskegee Airmen and Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) to audiences across the country in an experiential way. Short original films showcase the Tuskegee Airmen and WASP's stories as inspirational examples of how any one of us may be able to reach beyond our grasp to attain new levels of achievement, just like they did. The RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit features the mobile theater exhibition and real fully-restored airplanes together to bring the story to life and make it that much more compelling and powerful! Join us in empowering area youth to RISE ABOVE!
UD will host a unique traveling exhibit that allows audiences across the country to not only learn but also experience the inspiring stories of the Tuskegee Airmen and Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) while being immersed in a theatrical experience.
RISE ABOVE: Tuskegee Airmen Traveling Outdoor Exhibit will be open to the public on the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, Sept. 29, to Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Film showings will occur every 45 minutes starting at 4:15 p.m. with the final showing at 7:15 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 2, to Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Film showings will occur every 45 minutes starting at 9:00 a.m. with the final showing at 4:30 p.m.
