Want to learn a new language? Or do you need to refresh your language skills? Mango Languages is available at the Charles C. Myers Library.


UD faculty, staff, and students can register at any time for access to their own Mango Languages course. Mango Languages is an online, as well as mobile, self-paced program that does not carry any academic credit. Mango aims to build real world language skills by emphasizing proficiency through commonly used phrases, pronunciation through voice comparison technology, and cultural understanding through insights. Access to Mango Languages software is provided by Charles C. Myers Library at no additional cost to current UD faculty, staff, and students.

HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Visit the University of Dubuque Mango Languages landing page by clicking this link: http://ezproxy.dbq.edu:2048/login?url=https://connect.mangolanguages.com/dbq/start

2. Once the page has loaded, there are two possible ways to access the languages. The first is the Guest Access and the second is the registered user access. To keep track of your progress and languages that you're learning, click the link in the left-hand side of the main pop-up window that says "Don't have a profile? Create one to keep track of your progress."

3. After you've created your profile and put your UD email address in, follow the instructions in your email and get ready to Mango! The language is also available as a mobile app that you can log into once your account has been created. Take Mango with you wherever you go.
